1. MAKEOVER BATHROOMS FLOOR WITH THESE INEXPENSIVE TRICKS
Your vinyl floors of the '80s are no longer relevant. Are you tired of a plain floor? You have a lot of options when it comes to affordable, unique materials.
There are many options for low-cost luxury vinyl flooring. They look exactly like tiles or wood. They are lightweight and easy for you to install. The greyish colour matches well with the original bathroom design.
You should paint the bathroom floor. You might not think that replacing a bathroom's floor is a major remodelling job. Your answer might be to paint your bathroom floor. It's a much simpler DIY project than replacing the entire bathroom floor.
The process of applying waterproof and reliable primers to your floor can take only a few hours. This is a great way to make your bathroom floor look stylish and fast. Restain an existing wood floor. We allow you to see how many times wood floors have been saved and turned back into new life.
These floors are beautiful and should be preserved. Protect them with new enamel and stain.
2. REPLACE BATHROOM MAT
You can add texture and style to your bathroom by updating your mat or rug. You don't need to settle for a boring bathroom rug. There are so many options available.
I wanted to add some fun to the neutral floors and so I selected the black &white Boho-style bathroom rug.
3. UPDATE TOILET HOLDER PAPER HOLDER. TOWEL RACKS.
Remodelling your bathroom with a matching towel or toilet paper holder is another cheap and quick way to make it look better.
You can choose from different metals like silver, gold copper, or even black iron. This is where your moodboard comes into play. This small collection allows you to mix and match metals, creating a modern and stylish bathroom.
I chose to purchase a towel holder and a towel rack with strong adhesive. This prevents me from drilling holes in my bathroom wall. The stainless steel material, which is waterproof and rustproof, is simple to install.
4. INSTALL SHOWER PANEL
A complete remodel is necessary if the shower is damaged or cracked. You can find affordable shower panels and bathtub panels.Instead of hiring a team to install tiles, go for lightweight, low-cost bath panels. They are both beautiful and easier to work with. They have adhesive properties that will make it easier to install them.
Refinish your tub or shower. If your bathtub is still in excellent condition and has only minor problems like a yellowed surface and cracks you can paint it. This project will save money and make it easier to install.
5. UPDATE YOUR SHOWER
It is a good idea if you want to replace your old showerhead with a low flow one. It should match the colour of the towel rack and the toilet tray.
Low-flow showerheads have a stylish appearance and can be controlled to control the water flow. This not only saves you money but also helps the environment. You can also go with Shower Riser Kit if you have family members with different heights.
6. BATHROOM DESIGN IDEAS ON A BUDGET
Consider wallpaper over tiles. Wallpapers are back. They are extremely trendy, and you have the choice of bold geometric patterns as well as endless colours.
Bathroom wallpapers tend to be cheaper than tiles. Choose waterproof wallpapers. They are easily removable and can be rearranged as needed.
I chose a geometric Boho pattern from Roommates.
Install backsplash with a peel-and-stick method. They look very similar to real tiles. They can be installed in panels. They are lightweight and made from plastic. Many come with adhesive.
The backsplash is a grey peel-and-stick subway tile. It is still my favourite, but I prefer it more. I will soon change it to the brighter white bathroom wall with black geometric patterns wallpaper.
7. SWITCH EACH SOAP DISPENSER
The old soap dispenser can be replaced with a more cost-friendly option. You can inject some colour into your bathroom with a cheap dispenser. This is a better option than looking at a label on plastic bottles.
I wanted a small amount of rose gold in my bathroom, so I bought this cute soap dispenser in gold.
8. ADD GREENERY SO RELAXING AND CALM ATMOSPHERE
Finish your bathroom remodel and add decoration. Use greens to invite nature in.
Our bathroom is tiny so I used mini faux succulents. I then painted my mini ceramic terracotta pots rose gold to add a pop of colour.
